New Kitchen, Dining Room, and Home Office

The existing Kitchen and Dining Room were demolished – the only surviving element is the window! The Pantry was removed to open up the Kitchen to the rest of the house, improving traffic flow throughout. The swing door in the Living Room door was converted to pocket doors increasing livable square footage.

The Kitchen features a 15” deep countertop that rests on flat steel supports. The steel is custom-notched into cabinet top creating added comfort and counter space. Detailed custom-crafted appliance panels create a handsome and unified look. An extra mini refrigerator under counter blends with the rest of cabinets. Stocked and ready! Under lighting and puck fixtures illuminate brightly. Glass Subway tile and a custom hood adorn over the cooktop. Let’s get cooking.

In the Dining Room, a pair of custom-designed built-in cabinets matches the Kitchen woodworking. One piece is a wall-mounted cabinet with glass panels to display of personal objects, and the second is a marble-topped sideboard that picks up the Kitchen countertop styling.

The carpet was removed from the stairwells, Home Office, Dining Room and Family Room and replaced with beautiful new hardwood flooring.

A shared workspace for two in the Home Office incorporates a handsome wall-mounted display case, a generous T-shaped desktop, ample storage, and a pullout filing cabinet on the end. This file drawer cleverly runs the length of the T desktop and is easily accessible.
